Remain a huge fan of all things Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young in any form. In this footage, Stephen Stills looks so tragically sad — I’m sure he was also “out of it”, but that just makes it more sad. Some people carried the weight of Vietnam even if they didn’t serve there, and some people carried and still carry the weight of the world. When I listen to the music of those years, I, too, feel sorrowful, and that can be a good feeling — if you do something with it like try to change the world, like musicians like Stills did try at least.
