Apart from the Psalms, as you mention, and my years of “literally being humbled” (haha) by mistakes I made or actual wrong or naughty things I got caught in, one of the most useful discoveries I have made about this topic is Kathryn Schultz’s book (and Ted Talk) on “Being Wrong”.
